David Evans is a senior executive with deep subject-matter expertise in the global lottery sector, working with clients across the USA, Canada, Europe, and the UAE. His core expertise include product innovation and next-generation lottery products, player research and insight, market analysis, and the development and execution of effective operational marketing strategies.
David has over 25 years of gaming experience, having worked in the lottery industry since 1996, building extensive experience across multiple markets and gaming verticals. His career began at GTech, followed by a move to Camelot Global in 2009. He later broadened his expertise by working across Bingo, Casino, and Slots, before returning to Camelot in 2016 as a consultant. During this period, he played a key role in transforming sales performance for the Irish Lottery and contributed to the 4th UK National Lottery license bid.
David has also been involved in supporting UAE Lottery operator Ewings LLC, helping to develop its existing gaming portfolio and bid for the UAE Lottery license. This work led to his recommendation to support the current operator, Momentum, with game development and growth strategy.
David’s extensive lottery expertise has contributed directly to significant revenue growth for lotteries worldwide. Notable achievements include supporting the California Lottery during its fastest-growing years (FY11 and FY12), delivering a successful game change and price increase across Canada’s five provincial lotteries for Lotto 6/49, and helping to rejuvenate UK Lotto through the introduction of a new game feature that has increased both sales and player participation.
In 2022 David joined Aqueria Lottery Consultancy, where he continues to advise lotteries on growth, innovation and player engagement.
David holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business and professional marketing qualifications from the Chartered Institute of Marketing. He studied at Thames Valley University, England.
